HELEN MARIE CASEY is an award-winning writer whose work has appeared in numerous journals including The Connecticut Review, Runes, The South Carolina Review, and Prairie Schooner, among others. as well as in several anthologies. Her newspaper columns appear Sundays in the MetroWest Daily News and she writes arts and culture pieces for North Shore Living. Her first chapbook, a narrative series of poems about Joan of Arc, Fragrance Upon His Lips, was published by Finishing Line Press in 2005. Helen was also a semi-finalist in the 2001 Discovery/The Nation competition.
